Daily Times-News, The Tuesday, February 01, 1972 Mr. and Mrs.. Jasper G. Greeson of Route 6, Burlington, were honored on their 25th wedding anniversary with a reception Sunday afternoon in the fellowship hall of Low's Lutheran Church. Hosts for the occasion were children of the honored couple, Mr. and Mrs.. Douglas Shoffner, Mr. and Mrs.. Kenneth Greeson and David Greeson. Mrs.. Greeson is the former Ruby Lee ISLEY, daughter of Mrs.. Nellie D. ISLEY. Mr. Greeson is the son of Mrs.. j James G. Greeson and the late Mr. Greeson. For the occasion Mrs.. Greeson was attired in a pink crepe dress and was presented a corsage of red sweetheart roses. Mr. Greeson wore a matching boutonmere. Mrs.. Richard Robertson and Mrs.. Leonidas Neese greeted guests and directed to the receiving line. A red and pink color scheme was used throughout the fellowship hall. The refreshment table was covered with a red linen and lace cloth. A silver candelabrum holding pink tapers, red and pink sweetheart roses, pink carnations interspersed with silver and white babies'-breath was used as a centerpiece on the table. Silver appointments were used to serve nuts, the anniversary cake and pink fruit punch. Assisting in serving were Mrs.. Ronald Moize, Mrs.. Vance Greeson and Mrs.. Kelly Greeson. Mr. and Mrs.. Howard Stafford were at the gift table which was covered with a pink cloth caught up at the corners with nosegays of pink sweet- heart roses and ribbon. A silver epergne containing pink and red roses, mums, silver and white babies'-breath was used as a centerpiece.



Greensboro News & Record (NC) - November 24, 1994 Deceased Name: RUBY ISLEY GREESON BURLINGTON - Mrs. Ruby Isley Greeson, 65, of 5961 South NC 49 died at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 1994, at Duke Medical Center, Durham, after three months declining health and critical illness of three weeks.

She was born in Alamance County to the late Elbert Isley and the late Nellie Dee Albright Isley. She was a member of Low's Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Dorcas Circle and the church choir.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25 at Low's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Timothy Martin, pastor of Low's Lutheran Church, and Dr. Roy Taylor, pastor of Grove Park Baptist Church.

Surviving are husband, Mr. Jasper G. Greeson of the home; daughter, Mrs. Dough (Nancy) Shoffner of Burlington; sons, Mr. Kenneth G. Greeson, Mr. David Michael Greeson, both of Burlington; sisters, Mrs. Ronnie (Judy) Moize, Mrs. Ernie (Marie) Everett, both of Snow Camp; brothers, Mr. Vance M. Isley, Mr. Ernest A. Isley, Mr. D. Curtis Isley, all of Burlington, Mr. C. Martin Isley of Liberty, Mr. Joe S. Isley of Conover, Mr. W. Tommy Isley, Mr. Jimmy L. Isley, both of Burlington; seven grandchildren; two

great-grandchildren. Predeceased is a sister, Mrs. Annie D. Brown.

The family will be at Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6-8 tonight, other times at the residence. The body will be taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
