Daily Times-News, The Monday, October 24, 1966 ROY LEVI SMITH, Jr.., 41, of the Mt. Hermon Community on Rt. 6, Burlington, died yesterday afternoon at o'clock in a local hospital following two weeks of illness, one of which was critical. Mr. SMITH was a native of Alamance County, son of ROY LEVI SMITH Sr. of Rt. 2, Burlington, an the late Mrs.. Annie Elizabeth Page SMITH. He was the husband of Mrs.. Daisy Scot SMITH of the home, who survives, and was employed as salesman for Thomas Howar Wholesale Co. in Greensboro. He was a member of the Men's Class and president of the Methodist Men's Club of Rock Creek Methodist Church and was a member of Bulla Masonic Lodge, No. 409, of Burlington. Survivors, other than his wife and father, include two brothers, Harold P. SMITH of Rt. 2 Burlington, and Willard E SMITH of Hartsville, S. C. Final rites will be held tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock at Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington. The Rev. Georg W. Johnson, a former pastor of Rock Creek Methodist Church and the Rev. P. F. Newton pastor of the Rock Creek Church, will conduct the service. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park with grave side rites to be conducted by Bui Lodge, No. 409, of Burlington |
