Roy E. Reigle, 76, of Rt. 2, Scio, died last Wednesday in his home after suffering an apparent heart attack. A retired employee of The Surety Rubber Co. at Carrollton, he was born in Loudon Township September 17, 1896, a son of the late David H. and Elizabeth Ann (Colar) Reigle. He was a member of Kilgore Emmanuel Lutheran Church where he served on the board of trustees, and a member of Carrollton Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Survivors include his wife, Marie (Gotshall) Reigle; one daughter, Mrs. John (Mary) Patroske of Conneaut; a step-daughter, Mrs. Matthew (Margel) Morvatz of Carrollton; a brother Emmett Reigle of Rt 2, Scio; two sisters, Mrs. Owen (Blanche) Salmon and Mrs. Leroy (Nellie) Davis, both of Rt. 2, Scio; one granddaughter; one step-granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Howard and Wilmer, preceded him in death. Services were Saturday in the Sweeney Funeral Home at Carrollton with Rev. C. M. Hollensen officiating. Burial was in Kilgore Cemetery.
