    BEST, Rowena, age 77, of 1316 Franklin Street, passed away in a local hospital Thursday, June 22, (1950). Mrs. Best had resided here for the past 36 years and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Maple Leaf Chapter No. 17, and the Rebekah lodge No. 32, of LaConner. Surviving relatives are, two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Beckley, of Anacortes, and Mrs. Naomi Sorenson, of this city; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. The remains rest at the funeral home of Harlow-Hollingsworth where services will be conducted by the Rev. James Martyn Wilson Monday, June 26, at 1 p. m. Final resting place, Pleasant Ridge cemetery, LaConner.
