Obituary

Rose I. Neff, 77 ALLIANCE ? Rose Irene Neff. 77, died Monday, Aug. 22, 1994 at her home. She was born June 29 1917, in Garden County, Neb., to Edwin A and. Ida Mae (Hinman) Neff. She moved to Alliance from Broadwater in 1927. She worked as an assistant dietician at St. Joseph 's Hospital for 26 years and at Woolrich for 12 1/2 years before retiring in 1988. She was a Member of the United Methodist Church, Panhandle Forum and Happy Homemakers Extension Club. She had served on the administrative and executive board or the church, and was a charter member of the Athelpho Circle. She is survived by her brother, Donald Neff, Gering sisters and brothers?in?law, Margaret and Anthony Yeager and Edith Keller of Alliance, Esther and Aurel Czeisel of Kensington, N.Y., and Opal and Wayne Keller of Oshkosh. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at the United Methodist Church. The Rev Richard Carter will officiate. Burial be in Alliance Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or to the United Methodist Church. Bates?Gould Funeral is in charge of arrangements.
