In 1900 her mother is living with her.

Belle Sweet said she was married four times; Tom Barber, Pete Musser, Norman Briggs and Tom Covey. Dewey Hosler said she was married three times. Both Belle and Dewey said she had no children. Belle Sweet said her home was spotless and that she was a good person. When she became ill with cancer, her nieces Sadie and Mary Ann took care of her. Her stepson Brigham was nice and inherited everything.

Obituary

WELL-KNOWN WOMAN PASSED AWAY Mrs. Isabelle Covey Dies At Age of Fifty Years

 Mrs. Isabelle Covey died at her home on Upright Avenue, January 23, 1923, as the result of a cancerous growth of long standing.  She was fifty years of age.
 Isabelle Hostler was born in Antrim county, Michigan, January 28, 1873.  Her husband, Thomas Covey, who survives her, is now recovering from a severe attack of pneumonia and heart trouble at the Charlevoix hospital.
 She left no children.  There are two sisters: Mrs. Lewis Dufore, of Ellsworth, and Mrs. John Murphy of East Jordan, and four brothers; Joseph and George Hostler, of Bellaire, and Alexander and Henry of East Jordan.  There are a number of nieces and nephews.
 Mrs. Covey was well liked and respected here and will be sadly missed by her many friends as well as the relatives.  She was a member of the W.R.C., a Royal Neighbor, a Rebecca (in Lansing) and a faithful member of the Baptist church here.
 The funeral was held Thursday afternoon, January 25th, at two o'clock on Upright Avenue, Rev. Charles Rice of the Baptist church officiating.  Interment was at Brookside.
