The family tree below, at Rootsweb, lists Milton as Roland's son. The following information was received in an e-mail from Chi Benedict to Gray Alexander 13 March 2008: "Most of the information I have about Judge Roland & Phoebe (Grism) Brown and their descendants was in a journal that was written by my 3rd great grandmother Clara Belle (Robinson) Rouse (Who is the daughter of Col. Robert Robinson & Frances Brown). Clara's father had started writing down a family tree in about 1860 (According to a story that was told about it) and she rewrote and added to it until her death in 1921 All of the names dates and places I have came from this journal (I am not in possession of the journal but my grandfather's cousin is). It was limited to name of person, year born and state born. If there was a death listed it was listed in the same manner. I have been working to verify with documentation the information given to me from the journal myself. Though as I go through and verify information, the sources have been recorded. I do not have documentation of Milton's birth like that, I just have the information that came in the journal about Clara's grandparents and her mother's siblings."
