Co., farmer ... 100 acres corner of Wm. Fitzgerald and Edward Turner and near head of a drain of Crummels Run ... corner to Turner and Crosby's lease from Col. Henry Lee ... part of a tract or parcel of land sold by Burgess Smith to the sd. Roger Tolle ... 28 Sept. 1767 ... £100 ...” The deed was signed by Roger Tolle and Sarah Tolle, and it was witnessed by Uriel Crosby, Nathaniel Weedon, James (X) Tolle, and Susanna (X) Tolle. This was recorded 27 May 1776 and acknowledged by Tolle.
