RODNEY W. HORCHLER The Republic, November 30, 1989

Rodney W. Horchler, 40, of Grantsville, Md., died Wednesday, Nov. 22,1989, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Mogantown, W. Va. Born Feb. 19, 1949 in Frostburg, Md., he was the son of Mark W. and Florence (Beal) Horchler. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam conflict, and an employee of Mettiki Coal Company, Deer Park, Md. He is survived by his widow, Lan (Nguyen) Horchler, Oklahoma City, Okla.; a son, Wayne M. Horchler, Grantsville, Md.; Khiem Horchler, Grantsville, Md; one sister, Mrs. Krystal Barton, Rockwood. A memorial service was conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Price Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Whitacre officiating. Interment, Amity Church Cemetery, Meyersdale.
