Robert Vaulx and Elizabeth, his wife, one of the daus. and legatees of Rodham Kenner, Aug. 21, 1712. In his will proved January 18, 1727, Richard Kenner mentions his sister, Elizabeth DeButts.

    In the name of God Amen I Rodham Kenner of the Parish of St. Stevens in the County of Northumberland, Gentl being sick and weak in body but of perfect sense and memory praised be Almighty God therefor and calling to remembrance the uncertaine Estate of this Transitory life and that all flesh must yield unto death when it shall please God to call, doe make ordain and declare this my last will and Testament in manner and form following hereby revoking all other and former will and wills Testament and Testaments made by me and this only to be taken for my last will and Testamt. First I bequeath my soul to Almighty God my maker in sure and certaine hope of an everblessed and an immortall Salvation through th merritts of my blessed Savior Christ Jesus, my body to the Earth to be decently buryed at the discretion of Exors hereafter named, and for what Estate God of his great mercy hath beene pleased to bestowe on me.
    I give and dispose thereof as followeth:
    Imprinis: I give and devise to my daughter Elizabeth all my land situated in the County of Westmoreland below Machodig river and Normanie river in the neck comonly called Machodig neck to her and the heires of her body lawfully lawfully begotten forever, and for want of such Issue to the heires att law of the said Elizabeth forever.
    Item I give and devise all my land situated in this County neare the head of Yeocomoco River to my daughter Hannah and the heires of her body lawfully begotten and for want of such to the next heires aat law to hte said Hannah forever.
    Item I give and devise to each of my sd daughters Elizabeth and Hannah the sume of one hundred pounds Sterl money and Four thousands pounds of Tobacco, the said sume of Money and Tobacco to be paid to each of them respectfully upon demand after they and each of them arrive to the age of Eighteen years (that is to say) soe much to be paid to my daughter Elizabeth upon demand after shee arrives to the age aforesd and soe much to my daughter Hannah upon demand after she arrives to the age aforesd.
    Item I apoint and ordain my loving brother Capt. Francis Kenner and my loveing Cozen Capt. Christhn Neal my whole and sole Exors of this my last Will and Testamt to Receive and pay my debts and to manage what Estate my children shall have to the best advantage for my said children and to see my children well educated and brought up, and in consideration of their care and trouble aforesd. I give to them and each of them the sum of Three thousnd pounds of Tobacco for the first year and for every yeare after the sum of two thousand pounds of Tobacco Each out of the proffitts of my estate.
    Item I give to my brother John Kenner one thousand pounds of Tobacco to be paid by my Exocs. Item I give to my brother Mathew Kenner one thousand pounds of Tobacco to be paid by my Exors. Item all the rest of my Estate both reall and personall I give and devise to my son Richard Kenner and his heires forever. In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale this 26th day of July, 1706.

    Die Augt y 21, 1706, Mr. Danl McCarthy Mrs. Eliza Kenner and Mrs. Hannah Neale witnesses to this will did then in Northumbld County Court make oath on the Holy Evangelists, that they did see and heare Col Rodham Kenner the Testator and subscriber thereof Signe, seale, and publish this to be his last will and Testament and the same is admitted to record
