TULLIS, Robert 93 of South Vienna, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2008 in Community Hospital, Springfield. He was born April 19, 1915 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Van and Olive (Neer) Tullis. Robert spent the majority of his career as a livestock broker. He also enjoyed cattle, growing his tomato plants, farming, and especially mowing with his John Deere tractor. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Bonnie (Locke) Tullis; daughters, Janet Finchum of Springfield and Gail (Michael) Freeman of Rochester Hills, Michigan; son Jon R. "Jack" (Jeanette) Tullis of Philadelphia, PA; 8 grandchildren including his special grandson Ed Finchum of Springfield, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, David L. Tullis; brother Nathan Tullis, and sister, Dorothy Knotts. Following Robert's wishes, his body will be cremated. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 in the Vernon-Asbury Cemetery, Catawaba, Ohio. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and the National Kidney Foundation. Services are entrusted to the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home Mechanicsburg.
