Robert was born to Burton Ellis Scott and Iris Bernice Scott on 1-28-37 at Kuna, Idaho. He then moved with his parents at the age of 2 to Cascade, Idaho.
He grew up and really enjoyed the outdoors. He attended Cascade School until his junior year when his parents moved to Tamarack Lumber Mill. He graduated from New Meadows his senior year.
He participated in basketball and football which he loved. Upon graduation he went to work at Cascade Mill.
He joined the Army and met his training at Fort Lewis and when completed he was assigned active duty in Korea for two years.
He returned to Cascade and was employed by Boise Cascade. He was interested in driving truck and was hired by J.I. Morgan for the next 22 years.
He ended up working for Valley County Road Department as a truck driver and grater operator. He retired in 1998 due to health reasons.
He married . . . on 10-4-59 in Cascade where they made their home. They built two new homes together and moved in to their second home in the country . The home was a log home which they built together side by side and they took great pride in.
They had a baby son and lost him right after birth in 1960. They had 2 children after they lost the baby. A son, Dale Scott and a daughter . . . .
Robert loved building and crafting in wood. He made many beautiful items. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, four wheeler trips , camping , ice fishing where he took his family along . He enjoyed a trip to the South to visit with good friends. Many good times.
Robert was preceded in death by his father Burton, mother Iris, a baby son, a grown son Dale Scott.
He is survived by his wife . . . , Daughter, . . . , three grandchildren , . . . .

Graveside services will be held for family and close friends at Margaret Cemetery in Cascade, Idaho on Aug. 10, at 11:00 am
