Robina Johanna Moncrieff (d. 28aug1886 Edinburgh), daughter of Robert Hope Moncrieff, writer, married (8oct1829 Glasgow, IGI) Laurence Robertson (chr 7sep1799, Perth, d. 7nov1876 Edinburgh, manager of Royal Bank of Scotland) and had a son Robert Hope Robertson (1836-7jan1903 Glasgow, stockbroker, marr (3jan1878 at Glasgow) Margaret Campbell) (G. MacGregor). In 1841 Lawrence Robertson (1801, banker), Robina (1816), Robert Hope (1835), b. outside county, and others were at Inverkip, Renfrewshire (census). On death (20jul1883) of David Lumsden, Pitcairnfield, Redgorton, transactions affected Alexander Moncrieff (Blackfriars St., Perth), and Robert Hope Robertson in 1883 and Adml Arthur Farquhar, Robert Lumsden (Glenlockhart, Colinton Rd., Edinburgh) in 1898 (GWR shares findmypast).
