Antrim, Ireland, died 26 May 1893, Nova Scotia, buried Nappan; son of Alexander McAloney/McAlonan, born about 1765 in Ballymena, Co. Antrim, Ireland, died 14 December 1847, in Nova Scotia, buried Southhampton, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia. Alexander's wife, name unknown, died at sea on the voyage over from Ireland via Scotland.
