Wife Mary 1/3 of moveable estate with her bed, furniture and a young black mare and use of the land on north side of the creek for herself and the children while she remains a widow, but then to be sole and the proceeds given to Nancy and the other children -- lane on the south side of the creek next to William Cowan is to be sold and on up to the old bridge. (He does not mention sons --- having probably already settled with them.)
He names the following daughters:
Margaret 10 pounds
Mary 10 pounds
Rachel 5 pounds
To share equally in the remainder: Nancy, Jannet, Hannah, Martha, Lydia.
Robert Luckey, Jr. appoints his wife Mary and his brother John as executors and guardians.
The will is witnessed by William Luckie, (perhaps a cousin or an Uncle.) James Gillespie and George Gillespie.
3. ROBERT2 LUCKEY, JR. (ROBERT1) was born 1732, and died Oct 1772. He married MARY HOLMES 02 Dec 1769 in Rowan Co, NC, daughter of JIMMIE HOLMES and CATHERINE WILSON. She was born Apr 1735, and died Bef. 1823 in Maury, Tennessee. She married James Reed on 5 Nov 1774.
