  14. "A verdict of death by accident was returned by Coroner T. C. McQuate inthe case of Robert Hartzell, Sr., 56, of Freeburg, who was fatallyinjured when run over by a corn binder on his farm Tuesday. He diedenroute to the City hospital. Hartzell received a crushed chest, ahemorrhage resulting when ribs penetrated in the lungs, the coronersaid. Hartzell was preparing to test the corn binder on which he hadmade repairs and was caught under the machine when the horses, one ofwhich was new, ran away.
    He is survived by his wife, Ada Chenot Hartzell; three daughters,Mrs. Wade Yohe of Louisville, Gladys and Nellie of the home; and foursons, Alfred of Alliance, Earl of Canton, Calvin and Robert Jr., of thehome; six grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs. Anna Bates, Alliance,Mrs. Mary Birch, Carrollton, Mrs. Della Scott, Homeworth and Mrs. AlmaMyers, Canton.
    Funeral services will be held at the Freeburg Evangelical churchFriday at 2:30 p.m. Rev. F. M. Mickey, pastor, will be in charge.Friends may call at the home Thursday afternoon and evening. Intermentwill be made in the Union cemetery in Louisville."

McQuate has returned averdict of accidental death in the case of Robert Hartzell, 56, farmerwho was said only injured Tuesday when he fell under a corn harvesterbeing pulled by runaway horses. Hartsell was making repairs on theharvester at his farm on the Freeburg Alliance Road southwest of SalemEvangelical Church went horses became frightened and ran away. Hesuffered internal injuries and died on route to the City hospital hereand Cassidy and Terkel ambulance. Mr. Hartsell was born on the farm inwhich she had lived almost his entire lifetime. He was a member ofFreeburg Evangelical Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ada ChenotHartzell; three daughters, Mrs. WadeYohe of Louisville, and MissesGladys and Nellie at home; for sons, Alfred of Alliance, Earl of Cantonand Calvin and Robert Jr. at home; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Bates ofAlliance, Mrs. Mary Birch of Carrollton, Mrs. Della Scott of Homeworthand Mrs. Alma Myers of Canton, and six grandchildren. Funeral serviceswill be held Friday at 2 PM at the Freeburg Evangelical Church with Rev.F. M. Mickey in charge. Friends may call at the home Thursday afternoonand night."
