Gender Male
Birth[1] Abt 1754
Marriage 5 Nov 1777 St Ive, Cornwall, Englandto Sarah Grubb
Burial[1] 11 Feb 1803 Saltash, Cornwall, EnglandSt Stephen by Saltash

Robert Harry's origins have yet to be established. If the age quoted at his burial is correct, then he was born around 1754. His first confirmed sighting is on 5th November 1777 when he was married at St Ive in east Cornwall to a Sarah Grubb. Between 1778 and 1800 they appear to have had eight children together. The first seven were all baptised at St Ive, although the seventh child died as a baby. They then moved about ten miles south to Saltash, where their youngest daughter was baptised in 1800. Robert worked as a labourer.[2]

Robert died in 1803 and was buried at Saltash's parish church of St Stephen by Saltash on 11th February 1803. It seems Sarah was left with the children to look after, the youngest of whom was less than three years old. It has yet to be established what happened to Sarah.
