Abstract of the will of Robert Davis of Acton Turville, written 3 March 1594, proved 8 May 1595. He mentions his children and grandchildren.
Note that the author (on page 2) estimates his birth year as about 1530. His son Robert had 6 children by 1595, and at least 3 of them were married with children by 1607 (will of Humphrey Davis, p. 27). Since the average marriage age at the time was mid-twenties, it is likely that Robert was born earlier than 1530.
