Listed seperately on the 1870 census, but right under family. I feel that he is a son.

There may be a step child living with them in the 1870 census. Need to check again.

In the 1860 census of Green Twp., Lawrence Co., Missouri a boy about this age born in NC is listed as Spencer. I feel this must be either a first or middle name.

Dates from Charles Chrisman. He has name as Homer Spencer Chrisman. He also has that he is buried in Red Oak Cemetery.
