Sarah McCall, eldest daughter of James McCall of Baldowie (sic), married Robert Dennistoun Campbell, 71st Highland Light Infantry, 7jul1857 at Blythswood, Glasgow (IGI, Gentleman’s Magazine). Robert was son of Alexander Campbell (probably related to Campbells of Possil) and Barbara Campbell, daughter of Archibald Campbell of Jura (Old country houses of old Glasgow gentry).
