BRULAND, Robert C., age 80, of Route 2, Ferndale, passed away Thursday, June 24, (1965). Mr. Bruland had been a resident of Ferndale and Pleasant Valley Community the past 60 years and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the WCDA. He is survived by 1 daughter, Mrs. Esther Halmes of Crescent City, Calif.; 3 sons, Caspar of Blaine; Rolph of Everson and Norman of Ferndale; 4 sisters, Mrs. Tina Wagelie of Blaine; Mrs. Helga Long of Ferndale; Mrs. Clara Rutherford and Mrs. Oline Miller, both of Bellingham; 2 brothers, Raymond of Fresno, Calif., and Ted of Bellingham; 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 26 at 1:30 p.m. in Moles Funeral Chapel, Rev. Donald Cornell officiating. Final resting place Greenacres.
