BRULAND, Guri, age 76 of Rt. 2, Ferndale, passed away Thursday, August 3, (1961) in a local hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Bruland had been a resident of Whatcom County for the past 39 years and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert; 1 daughter, Mrs. Esther Holmes of Crescent City, Calif.; 3 sons, Caspar of Blaine; Rolph of Lynden and Norman of Ferndale; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted in the Moles' Monroe Chapel Monday, Aug. 7 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Stanley Williamsen officiating. Final resting place Greenacres Memorial Park.
