    Notes for ROBERT J. BROWNFIELD:
    Robert served as a war supply wagon train guard during the Revolutionary War, in the
    Pennsylvania Rangers. He and other Revolutionary War veterans that were early settlers of Illinois in the Danville-Champaign area and died in Illinois are commemorated in the court yard of the Federal Courthouse at Danville. Robert's name is engraved on a paving stone. His grave near the "Big Grove" in the Rhinehart Cemetery has been lost [Rinehart Cemetary in Effingham County, Illinois, which is south of the Champaign-Danville area?].
