1. Rita and Felix came to Bisbee in early 1879 (Manuela was born in Arizona in May 1879. ) According to Rita's obituary, she had 27 children; 11 were still alive at her death. She had 91 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The birth order of the children is uncertain. Source 287 states there were 29 children.

2. They lived on a small farm near Bisbee.

3. The 1900 Census records her name as "Serita"; perhaps this is a variant of Sarita or Sara.

4. The 1900 Census lists a son, Jose Maria, born about 1886. In the 1910 Census, there is a daughter, Jose Maria, born about 1888. She works out as a laundress. Perhaps a son and a daughter with the same name?

5. The 1900 Census lists a son, Guadalupe, born about 1890. In the Census for1910, there is a daughter, Lupe, born about 1893. Perhaps a son and a daughter with the same name?

6. In 1926, Rita Carabajal "(widow of F.)", resides on Spring Canyon. She has the same Post Office box as her daughter, Manuela.
