From page 143 & 144, Van Benschoten Book: "Richard was named after his grandfather Richard Jackson. . . In 1850 Richard moved from his Buchess Co., farm to one near Rochester, N.Y.; four years later he removed to Sodus, [Wayne Co.,] N.Y., and again six years later located on a farm near Lyons [Wayne Co.] where his final twelve years were passed, and where he died Nov. 14, 1872.

Catherine -- whose invalid chair had been the center of the household for many years - died at that home, which had become her daughter Mary's, on Nov. 4, 1879.
