Not One of 8 surviving siblings in Todd’s obit of 1943 sent by Jim Tremble. This photo sent by Lynne Guillot appears to be Richard’s Barbershop in Washington State, c 1900. Lynne: “I also know that my grandfather had a brother who started a barber shop in Spokane, WA and George had taken the train to visit him in WA. I believe the was pre-1905.” Following Lynne’s suggestion, I found Richard b abt 1879 in NY and Amanda, b abt 1877, NY, in Oregon in Spokane, WA in 1910 (ED 184, Ward 4, Sheet 12A). Richard’s father was born in French Canada and his mother in Canada of Irish descent. They had no children and had been married 4 years. Richard listed his occupation as barber.
