Richard L. Loughner, 65, of Latrobe, died Friday, April 25, 2014, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born Feb. 20, 1949, in Bouquet, a son of the late Lawrence E. Loughner Sr., and Gladys (Stokum) Loughner. Richard was a member of St. Vincent Basilica and was retired from the Unity Township Supervisors. He was a veteran of the Vietnam era having served with the Marine Corps. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jason R. Loughner; a brother, Lawrence E. "Bud" Loughner Jr.; a sister, Sara "Sally" Arb; his mother-in-law, Yvonne Pudlish; and a nephew, Ted Shuey. Richard is survived by his wife, Debra L. (Pudlish) Loughner, of Latrobe; four sons, Robert D. Loughner, of Latrobe, David M. Loughner, and his wife, Carmen, of Greensburg, Nicholas J. Loughner, of Latrobe, and Brian J. Loughner, and his wife, Amanda, of Latrobe; two sisters, Treasure Shuey, and her husband, Gerald, of Greensburg, and Gertrude "Tootsie" Glagola, and her husband, John, of North Huntingdon; four grandchildren, Jack, Cecilia, Jacey and McKenna; his father-in-law, John J. Pudlish, of Latrobe; and is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
