Lawrence E. "Bud" Loughner Jr., 66, of Irwin, died Sunday, April 19, 2009, at his home. He was born Aug. 13, 1942, in Penn Township, a son of the late Lawrence and Gladys Stokum Loughner. He was employed at one time by Laspina Equipment, of North Huntingdon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Dorothy M. "Mom" Schade Loughner; and a sister, Sara "Sally" Arb. Surviving are six children, Lawrence Loughner III and his wife, Janice, of Florida, Kevin Loughner, of Irwin, Troy Loughner, of Irwin, Michael Loughner and his wife, April, of North Huntingdon, Shawn Loughner, of Irwin, and Tammy Loughner and her friend, Keith Thiem, of Irwin; two sisters and a brother, Treasure Shuey and her husband, Gerald, of Greensburg, Richard Loughner and his wife, Debra, of Latrobe, and Gertrude "Tootsie" Glagola and her husband, John, of North Huntingdon; 10 grandchildren, Troy II, Stephen, Matthew, Brooke, Braden, Brittney, Alicia, Ryan, Abigail and Nevaeh; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved pet dog, Furby. ... Interment will follow in Irwin Union Cemetery, North Huntingdon.
