    At a civil term of the Probate Court held within and for the County of Wayne and State of Ohio, on the 12th Day of February in the year of the Lord Eighteen hundred and fifty five by and before Henry Buckmaster Judge of said Court at the Probate office in Wooster the following proceedings were had to wit:

    Will of Richard Jones deceased

    The last will and testament of Richard Jones deceased was this day produced in open Court and there upon Zephaniah W Beall and James Keys two of the subscribing witnesses to said will appeared and in open Court testified to the due execution of said will which testimony was reduced to writing and by them severally subscribed and filed with said will. And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court by the said testimony that said will was duly attested and Executed.

    And that at the time of Executing the same the said testator was of full age and of sound mind and memory and not under any restraint.

    It is therefore ordered by the Court that said will and testimony be recorded and that letters testamentary issue to Thomas F Jones one of the Executors named in said will and that he enter into bond with Zephaniah W Beall and James Keys as securities nal sum of four thousand dollars conditioned according to the heirs.

    And William W Brown, Lorenzo A Odle and Tobias M Gibbon as appointed appraisers of the personal property belonging to the Estate of said testator it is thereupon ordered by the Court that said will and testimony by recorded.

    LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF RICHARD JONES

    I , Richard Jones of the county of Wayne in the State of Ohio, Do make and publish this my last will and testament in the manner and form following: That is to say:

    First : It is my will that all my funeral expenses and all my just debts be fully paid;
    Second: I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Gwynn, one bed and bedding and one milk cow;

    Third: I give, devise, and bequeath to my granddaughter Mary Ann Gwynn, one bed and bedding and one milk cow;

    Fourth: I give, devise, and bequeath to my grandson Lewis A Gwynn, one bed and bedding, one young dun horse, and two hundred dollars in cash as a compensation for his services up to the present date;

    Fifth: I desire that the balance of my real and personal estate be sold and the avails equally divided between all my children that are living, viz;

    Elizabeth Gwynn, Thomas F Jones, Hannah Little, Belinda Jones, Mary Aylesworth, Sarah Aylesworth, Richard William Jones, and David F Jones.

    And lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my said son Thomas F Jones and my grandson Lewis A Gwynn to be the executors for this my last will and testament, revoking and annulling all former wills by me made, and ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament.

    In testimony whereof I have set my hand and seal this Thirteenth day of April in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty Eight
