Harvey, Richard. Called Sergt. 1670. Tailor, came in the Planter, 1635, ae. 22, with Ann Harvey, ae. 22, presumably his wife, but it is not certain that he was Richard of Stratford [Winthrop in 1668 wrote "Richard Harvie of Southold his wife is Deacon Howes(?) daughter. A different Richard?] He m. (1) Margaret _____, who d. at Concord, Mass., 2 Dec 1639. He m. (2) _____ _____. Mary wife of Thomas Jeffrey had land at Stratford by gift of her father Richard Harvey, 1676. In 1686, calling himself of Stratford, now resident in Fairfield, he conveyed to son-in-law John Hide of Fairfield; deed witnessed by Josiah Harvey and John Burr. Inv. 4 Nov. 1689. John Hide represented at Court 25 Dec. 1705 that considerable was due from Harvey's Est. to his dec'd father John Hide, and was granted adm'n.

The Ann Harvey who came in the Planter also may have been sister of Richard Harvey and Mary (Harvey) Beardsley.
