Will
(from Great Migration)
On 27 Jun 1676, administration of the estate of George "Gettings" was granted to "Jane the relict." [EQC 6:168; EPR 3:63] On 26 Sept 1676, the estate was ordered delivered into the hands of the fives sons, Thomas, John, James, Samuell and Joseph Gittins, Thomas to have a double portion. The widow was to receive £25 per year and the right to live in the house. Their three sisters Rebecka, Abigaill and Mary were to be paid £50 each.
Additional documents specify that Thomas is the oldest son and that Mary married Samuel Peirce.
