[edit] Will of Richard Baldwin, son of Richard, son of RichardIn the name of God, amen. I, Richard Bauldwin of Cholsbury, in the county of Bucks, weaver, being weake in body, but of perfect and good remembrance, blessed be God therefore, do make and ordayne this my last will and testament, in maner and forme following: First, I commit myself, soule and body, into the hands of almighty God &c. I give unto Isabell, my wife, one-third pte of all my goods, cattel, chattels and the like. Item: I give unto Nathaniel, my sonn, the sum of tenn pounds, to be payd him within one yere next after my decease. Item: I give unto my sonn Joseph one meade platt called by the name of Hunt's Wicke, by estimacon half an acre, more or less, lying and adioyning to my cottage, that John Dorrell now dwels in, for him to take possession of at his age of 21 yeres. Item: I give unto Mary Pratt, my daughter 6s 7d Item: I give unto her daughter Mary two sheepe, and to her two other children, each of them one sheepe. Item: I give unto Hanna, my daughter 13L 6s 8d, and to my two other daughters, Christian and Sara, 10L apiece, to be pd at the age of 21 yeres, or at the day of mariage, wch com frst. Item: I give to the pore of Cholesbury 10s, and to the Church 3s 4d. Item: I give unto Mr. Holl, the minister 20s Item: All the rest of my lands, goods, catell, chattels, moveables, households, and whatsoever else myne is here unbequethed, I give unto Timothy, myne eldest sonn, whom I make full and whole executor to this my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I have hereunto sett my hand and seale, the 23rd of December, 1630.
