WILL OF REZIN/REASON HOLLAND: IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I Rezin Holland of the County of Laurenes (Laurens) and State of South Carolina being sick and weak though perfect sound memory thank begive to God for it Calling to mind the mortallity of my knowing that it appointed for me to Die I do ordain this my last will and Testament principale and for all I Recommend my Soul unto the hands of Almighty that gave it I Recommend Discretion of Excutor hoping at the General Resurrection to Receive the same again by the mighty ower of allmighty God and so touching such mortal estates as where it has pleased God to bless us with in life I give and devise and dispose of the same in the following Manner and form
first I give bequeth and give to my well beloved wife plantation that I have and one hundred acres of woodling for use in Widowhood with two negroes Ned and Leah with sorrel horse and bay mare and plantation tooles and one bed and furniture and with the kitching furniture During her natural life or Widowhood also to my wife the cattle sheep and hogs and as the Children grows up giving them equal part I also give until my John Holland negro Will and stud horse one hundred acres of land all so leaving my still to John Holland and Thomas Holland with paying Jeremiah Holland thirty one dollars his part when coming of age, also my smith tools between my three boys one bed between them also give unto my son Thomas Holland one negro boy named Noah one young bay mare colt I also give Jeremiah Holland at my Wifes Decease or end of her widowhood half the plantation with the house and one hundred acres of land also I also give unto Susan (?) Holland one black horse and two beds Equally divided among four girls Susan Elizabeth Rachel and Marah (Possibly Mariah) at the end of Wifes life or Widowhood the two negroes above mentioned and their increase to be sold and divided between the five girls also every negro and all the horses to remain as they are at this time in order to Raise up the Children when coming of age every one to receive its equal part as Directed Also I leave my wife Mary, my wife Mary Holland and Joseph Adair my Lawful Executor The child that is now in the wombe is a mail to be made Equal with the rest of the mail(s) if a girl to be made to them of her part and first of all and before any Division of her Legatees all my lawfull Debts to be fully paid Ratifying and confirming this to be my last said will and Testam. also diasallowing of any other will or Legasies.
