    Mary Lowe Holland was born 16 Oct 1759, in Maryland, possibly Montgomery county, Maryland.[1] Mary was the daughter of David Lowe and Mary Choate Offutt.

    Mary Lowe Holland married Reason (Rezin) Holland about 1783 in Maryland.

    Mary and her husband Reason Holland were living in the Duncan's Creek area of Laurens county, South Carolina by 1790.[2]

    Mary and Reason Holland appear in the 1800 Federal census in Laurens county, South Carolina. The household appears as follows: 2 males under age 10; 1 male age 10 thru 15; 1 male age 26 thru 44; 3 females age under 10; 1 female age 10 thru 15; 1 female age 26 thru 44; and 4 slaves.[3]

    Mary's husband Reason Holland made his last will and testament in Laurens county, South Carolina on the 30th July, 1802. Reason's will was admitted for probate in Laurens county, South Carolina on the 19th October, 1802. Mary Holland was named as Executrix and Joseph Adarr was named as Executor in the will of Reason Holland.[4] Reason Holland was buried in Laurens County, South Carolina.

    Mary died on the 19 March 1836, in Lawrence county, Alabama, and is buried at the Holland Cemetery, Hillsboro, Lawrence county, Alabama.[8] Mary's son Thomas Holland was the administrator of her estate.[9]
