  2.   This is interesting "The Samuel Fay House" p 18+ link It says that Reuben Maynard's wife Mary Garfield was a granddaughter of Samuel Fay. Most trees show her as daughter of Ebenezer Garfield which is not correct as can be seen by reading his probate records. His daughter died unmarried. P 19 "One of the granddaughters, Molly who married Reuben Maynard, had 13 children born 'all around the lot' it was said to indicate the many places where they had lived." Descendants may wish to search descendants to Samuel Fay to find the ancestry of Mary Garfield.
