Reuben's children: #1945 Louisa Knight died June 25, 1891 and married James H. Price (born about 1840 died 1908); #1946 Mary D. Knight died November 14, 1865 presumably in Glocester, Providence County, R.I.; #1948 Alzada K. Knight died in 1940 and married John S. Weymouth (1843-1910); #1950 Sarah Marie Knight married Walter S. Smith (born about 1853 - died ?); #1951 George Washington Knight died October 10, 1899 presumably in Greenville (Smithfield), Providence County, R.I. - - he married ? (unknown) and had a son George Washington Knight Jr. (born about 1891 and died May 19, 1900 presumably in Greenville (Smithfield), Providence County, R.I.); #1952 Walter Reuben B. Knight was born presumably in Glocester and not Cumberland, Rhode Island. He died in 1956. Walter Reuben B. Knight married Helena Stewart about 1889 (she was born 1867 in Newport, R.I. and died 1955 presumably in Glocester, R.I.). I'm doubtful of the accuracy of Leslie M. Knight as the wife of Walter Reuben B. Knight.

After his marriage, he moved to Johnston, R.I. and worked as a laborer and teamster. He later purchased the Mann Farm in Glocester, R.I. along West Greenville Road (now known as the Knight Apple Farm, which is owned and operated by descendants of Reuben), and he farmed and resided on his land the rest of his life.
