Idaho Spokesman-Review (Coeur d'Alene, ID) - January 4, 2001

Memorial service for Reuben Frey, 83, will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Rathdrum, Idaho. Coeur d'Alene Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Frey, who was born in Winner, S.D., died Monday. He lived in Spokane. He married Mary Martin in 1952, and worked as a carpenter for many years. Mr. Frey moved to the Coeur d'Alene area in 1977. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Survivors include his wife; 10 children, James Frey of Mississippi, Martin Utecht of Seattle, and William Frey, Gary Frey, Jane Torrence and Vicki Buhl, all of Spokane, Jeff Frey and Vera Cole, both of New York, Sheri Doege of Wisconsin and Bobbi Jo Frey of Sandpoint; three brothers, Leo, John and Phil Frey, and two sisters, Viola Evans and Olivia Albert, all of Spokane; 30 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 212 Ironwood Drive, Suite 134, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814.
