His name is listed as David Rees on one family record, but that records shows no children. This name is probably more correct since the record it came from has all eight children, also with the surname of David.

There is some real confusion between this Rees David (born 1764) and his brother Rees David (born 1753). But I think this record is the most correct. The first Rees David probably died before 1764.
