Raymond W. Ganske, age 88, of Sykesville, died Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at his home.
He was born February 20, 1926 in Ocqueoc, Michigan, the son of the late William Ganske and the late Caroline Wemert Ganske. He was the husband of Virginia Louise Ganske (nee Styles) for 12 years married on June 9, 2002 and the late Freda Bernice Bittle Ganske for 53 years married October 26, 1946 and died September 22, 2000.
Served in WWII in US Signal Corp in the South Pacific-Korea December 1, 1945-December 26, 1946, Honorable Discharge; worked as a Farmer and Carpenter for many years then was employed by Black and Decker until his retirement. He enjoyed watching the Orioles and golf and eating at Capt. Dan's in Eldersburg.
