Obituary text: James Ralph Jim Grasmeyer, 49, of Cashmere, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Central Washington Hospital. He was born on July 20, 1960 at Ridgecrest, California. He made several moves while growing up. He worked as a painter and striper for asphalt companies. He moved to Wenatchee in 2002 and then to Cashmere the following year. He is survived by his Significant Other, Fern Dronen, Cashmere; three daughters. Jadelyn Jade Ilema Michelle Grasmeyer, Florida, Jamie Starr Grasmeyer, Aiea, Oahu, HI and Melissa Lynn Grasmeyer, Texas; his father & step-mother, Ralph & Pamela Ray, East Wenatchee; maternal grandmother, Lela Jester, Ridgecrest, CA; one grandson, Quinton Nathaniel Evans Brooks, Florida; two adoptive brothers, James Dale Grasmeyer and Michael Grasmeyer both of Michigan; two maternal uncles, Ralph B. Jester of California and Kenneth Jester of Arkansas; one maternal Aunt, Lynette Jester of California; one paternal uncle, Richard Rich Ray, Tulatin, OR; two paternal aunts, Sandra, Tomac, Centralia, WA and Mary Jo Mohrmann, Napavine, WA and several cousins. Inurnment will take place in California at a later date. Arrangements are by Heritage Memorial Chapel, East Wenatchee.
