Disputed Lineages

Many sources state that Ralph died unmarried (for example, source 1 below). However, Collins/Brydges has this to say: "This Sir Ralph Percy, Knt....is usually represented as having died unmarried; but the contrary appears from innumerable proofs, among the original evidences of the Percy family, preserved at Sion House and Alnwick Castle." It goes on to state that Sir Ralph married Eleanor Acton, and had three sons: Henry, Ralph, and George, and apparently a daughter, supposed to have been named Margaret, wife of Sir Ralph Harbottle, Knt.
