Mrs. Rachel B. Donovan

Services for Mrs. Rachel B. Donovan, 87, of 1050 1/2 University Ave., will be held at 10:30 am Saturday at the Church of the Nativity. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery at North Garryowen, Iowa. Friends may call from 2 to 9 pm Friday at the Gene Siegert & Son Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, where the scripture wake service will be held at 7:30 pm Friday.

Mrs. Donovan died at 7:50 am Tuesday at St. Joseph's Unit, Mercy Health Center. She was born in Dubuque County and lived in the Bernard area prior to moving to Dubuque in 1951. She was a member of Nativity Rosary Society. He husband, Maurice "Mossie" Donovan died July 23, 1957.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William (Ethel M.) Feeney of Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. James (Kathleen) Kane of Dubuque; five sons, Gerald "Jerry," Wilfred "Bill," and Leo M., all of Dubuque, Raymond J. of Bernard and Alfred C. of Albuquerque, N.M.; 27 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Clem (Regina) Welsh of Key West, Iowa, and Mrs. Florence Reardon of Dubuque.
