John Emmet Todd, 1896, states that Prudence was "born Nov. 7, 1826 in NY State. Married to James White at Clarksville, N.J. May 5, 1850. Came to Illinois in 1851. Present address: Grafton, Fillmore Co, Nebraska." --- Prudence was living in Maquon, Ill. when she died May 26, 1913. Her body was transported by train back to Nebraska and she is buried along side James in the Grafton Cemetery which is located in Grafton Township, Fillmore County, T8N R4W Section 36 Nebraska.
