Sister of John and Robert Phillips of NC Polly Porter Will Son, E. H. Porter to pay all my personal expenses. To son, E. H. Porter, Negro slave child Sarah Melinda, about age seven, all household and kitchen furniture, and all stock. To daughter Polly B. Hill, bed and furniture. To grand daughter Mary Eliza Hill, Negro slave child Mary Jane, aged about four. To grand daughter Polly C. Broadfoot, $50 to be paid by my son and son-in-law E. H. Porter and E. W. Hill. To son E. H. Porter and Polly B. Hill, Negro woman Sarah, but it is understood she is not to be sold. Appoint son E. H. Porter executor and request he not be required to give security. Signed: Polly Porter.
