He a member of the Church in Flatlands, NY at Dutch Reformed Church, Flatlands, Kings County, New York, 1677. On the assessment roll of Flatlands, NY in 1683. He left a will on September 4, 1688 at his house, Dorp of Faltlands, New York.A will written in Dutch dated Sept 4, 1688 names "Thys, his child by Geertie by name Aeltie, Marretie, Cornelis, and Willemtie, children by his first wife, and his son Jan child by his second wife Jannetie Luyster, eldest son Thys. The heirs are named in the confirmation of a deed by terms of which "Deacons of the Reformed Church in New York by and with the consent of ye present ministers and elders to Peter Cornelissen, farmer, of Flatlands, convey for L900 the farm f the Poor on which Arnold Webber is notw tennant."
