From Oscar Burton Robbins' book, pg 212: "Phyllis E. Brandon was educated at Canon City, Colorado and Wichita, Kansas High Schools, graduating from the latter school with the class of 1940. She took an active part in school affairs at Wichita, being especially interested in dramatics, playing the leading role in her class play."

From her grandson: "Grandma died 9 years ago in Nov of 97 from complications due to surgery. She was in Canon City at the time living with her son Jerry."

As of Nov, 2012, Find-a-Grave website has understandably mis-interpreted the info on her tombstone. The name carved across the top is BRANDON with her name under it as "Phyllis Bouchard Hensley" so the title of her memorial page is indexed as Phyllis Bouchard Brandon. The owner of the page will be contacted, but whether they will change the title or not is uncertain.
