OBITUARY (Friday August 14, 1987) FULTON - Phillip J. Malone, 66, a resident of Ware Road, died Thursday at Lee Memorial Hospital. Mr. Malone was born in Hannibal and had lived most of his life in the Fulton area. He formerly owned and operated Malone's Restaurant and the Holly Drive Motel Restaurant. Mr. Malone served with the Navy during World War II. He as was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 569. He is survived by a close friend, Lena Brown, a son, Frederick of Oswego; seven brothers, William, Francis, Eugene and Maurice, all of Hannibal, John and Paul, both of Fulton, and Charles of Baldwinsville; four sisters, Mary and Teresa Patane, both of Hannibal, Agnes LaClair of Baldwinsville and Helen Wiltsie of Liverpool; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 9a.m. Monday from the Fostor Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. from Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, the Rev. John Costello will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Adnah Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 910 Fay St. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. References
