His name is on a 1780 land survey in Acadia Parish (cites Walter Lowrie, EARLY SETTLERS OF LOUISIANA AS TAKEN FROM LAND CLAIMS IN THE EASTERN DISTRICT OF NEW ORLEANS TERRITORY, p. 277). He and Françoise GODIN had children marry during the war years (SJA). "He may have been Surgeon for the Coast and to have had previous [sic] wives Rosalie BOURGOIS or Rosalie RICHARD."

Where is indication of patriot service?
