- ↑ Philip Scogings, 72. 705 East Twenty- Seventh South St. died at his home Wednesday night of causes incident to age. A son of William and Susan Page Scogings he was born Nov 25, 1873 in Rockville. He came to Salt Lake 20 years ago and had been a farmer. He is survived by his widow, Mary Brown Scogings, and seven sons and daughters: William D Scogings, Pocatello; Homer Scogings, Arizona; Russell Scogings, Vancouver, Wash; Mrs. Amy Smith, American Fork; Mrs. Oral Evans. Salt Lake; Mrs. Nettie Farey, San Francisco and Mrs. Ella Rehbock, Redwood City, Calif.
