Philip is referred to in his uncle James Marshall's will of 1719. He has yet to be definitively traced after 1719, although there is a burial at Harpenden on 22nd January 1719 of James son of Philip Marshall, which may suggest that Philip married and had children, but no trace of that marriage or any baptisms for the children has yet been found.
